Telecommunications Infrastructure Projects:
Nesic Philippines is involved in the engineering design, implementation and project management together with its counterparts from NESIC Japan in various major telecoms infrastructure projects in the philippines in both private and government facilities.
Digital Telecommunications, Inc. (DIGITEL)
- Participated in Nesic Japan’s contracted project for SDH Backbone implementation and expansion with NEC as equipment provider from Laoag in North Luzon up to Sorsogon in South Luzon. Scope covers telecoms works, civil works and support facilities.
- As a strategic move, NPI prime for the GSM 1800 network project with Alcatel as equipment provider covering North and South Luzon. Scope covers site development with support facilities and civil works; BTS and Microwave installation and testing.
Globe Telecoms, Inc.
- Involved in NESIC Japan’s contracted project for Nationwide Backbone Implementation and expansion with NEC as equipment provider covering NCR, North and South Luzon up to Visayas and Mindanao. Scope covers survey, design and installation for Microwave radio, Multiplexer, Power and Network Management System (NMS) including testing and commissioning.
- In partnership with ERICSSON Philippines, participated in GSM site survey, engineering and network planning for GLOBE GSM Phase 8A & 8B project
NEXTEL Philippines
- In partnership with NEC Philippines, participated in microwave links survey and engineering project of NEXTEL
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT)
- Participated in NESIC Japan’s projects for PLDT X5-C microwave transmission implementation project and the Brunei-Malaysia Philippines (BMP) microwave restoral link and fiber optic transmission project with NEC as equipment provider.
Smart Communication Philippines, Inc.
- In partnership with NEC Philippines participated in the wireless local loop implementation project of SMART.
Air Transportation Office (ATO)
- Participated in NESIC Japan’s project for its turnkey contract for ATO’s nationwide air facilities and communication modernization covering 17 airports nationwide with TOSHIBA as equipment provider.
- Participated in NESIC Japan’s projects for ATO’s antenna rehabilitation, Phase 2 UHF and Tagaytay Exchange implementation project.
Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC)
- Participated in NESIC Japan’s turnkey projext with DOTC for its regional telecoms development and National telephone program tranche 1-1 with NEC as equipment provider.
